Adam Cole, M.D. Col, USAFR, 446th AMDS/CC
Dr. Cole attended the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville and graduated with honors with a bachelor’s degree in microbiology and earned his master’s degree in health science at Duke University in Durham, NC.
After relocating and working in Shreveport, La., he attended Louisiana State. From there, he began working in Shreveport, and subsequently attended Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport. He concluded his medical training with a residency in pathology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.
Dr. Cole is a board-certified Pathologist with a Genitourinary and Molecular Pathology focus. In addition to his medical education, Dr. Cole also serves as a Major and Flight Surgeon for the 301st, a F-22 fighter squadron in the US Air Force where he has been practicing general and preventative medicine for over 10 years. He currently serves in the USAF Reserves.
Alicia Schnebelen, M.D.
Alicia Schnebelen, M.D. is PathNet’s premier board-certified dermatopathologist. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Central Arkansas, with summa cum laude distinction. She received her medical education and residency training at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She then completed a fellowship in dermatopathology from the University of Arkansas, with a secondary emphasis on soft tissue pathology and extensive cross-training in clinical dermatology.
Dr. Schnebelen has published several peer-reviewed works and has been featured three times as a speaker in the prestigious “Duel in Dermatopathology” competition at the American Society of Dermatopathology annual meeting. She is a past recipient of the distinguished national Arthur Purdy Stout Society Trainee Award for residents in training and a member of the American and International Societies of Dermatopathology and the Dallas-Fort Worth Dermatological Society. With over seven years of experience in a high-volume private practice setting, Dr. Schnebelen values timely reads while prioritizing inter-specialty collaboration for personalized patient care.
Anthony Perry, M.D.
Dr. Anthony Perry pursued his education at Mayo Clinic, Texas A&M, and Tulane University, obtaining an MD and Ph.D. He completed his residency at Dignity Health Global Education and his fellowship at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Perry worked as a Principal Scientist at Spirus Laboratories and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency during his medical education. Before co-founding ConnectPathology, he worked at Intermountain Health Care as a Pathologist for 7 years.
Hillel Kahane, M.D.
Dr. Kahane lives in Long Island, New York, and is a board-certified urologic pathologist, with over 28 years of experience. He has diagnosed well over 1,000,000 prostate needle core biopsies, for over 6,000 urologists and radiation oncologists nationwide in two of the largest prostate biopsy laboratories in the United States. Dr. Kahane has the unique distinction of having worked with and published with both Jonathan I. Epstein, M.D. and David G. Bostwick, M.D.
Jameel A. Brown, M.D.
Dr. Brown graduated with a Bachelor of Science in applied physiology from the University of Iowa in Iowa City, where he subsequently received his medical degree. He then completed an anatomic and clinical pathology residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center, then went on to serve a four-year anatomic and clinical pathology residency, and a dermatopathology fellowship, at UAMS.
During his medical education, Dr. Brown held several teaching positions at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He was a Resident Instructor for dermatology unknown conferences and practical clerkships. He also frequently lectured for dermatology didactic sessions and pathology courses. He later served as a Faculty Instructor. Since concluding his postgraduate training, Dr. Brown has garnered considerable professional experience in a series of key positions at pathology practices in Arkansas and Nevada.
Jared Szymanski, D.O.
Dr. Jared Szymanski has over 13 years of experience as a general pathologist. He graduated from the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2003, completing his residency and fellowship at Texas A&M. He is board certified in anatomic and clinical pathology as well as cytopathology. He co-founded what would become the laboratory technology company Lumea and in 2020 left his hospital practice at Utah Valley Hospital to start ConnectPathology with partner Dr. Anthony Perry, where they are building a digital pathology practice applying technology to improve the laboratory process from the patient bedside through diagnosis and ancillary testing.
Matthew R. Lindberg, M.D.
Matthew R. Lindberg, M.D., is a graduate of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) in Little Rock. He completed his Pathology residency training at UAMS along with a Fellowship in Surgical Pathology, where he received focused training in gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and soft tissue pathology. Dr. Lindberg has over seven years of experience in both private and academic settings and also holds a current faculty appointment at UAMS.
He is the lead author of a major textbook in the bestselling Amirsys/Elsevier Diagnostic Pathology series and has contributed over 50 additional chapters to several other volumes.
Dr. Lindberg is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and is currently licensed in Arkansas, Texas, and Missouri.
Michelle Cox, M.D.
Dr. Cox, is a distinguished board-certified pathologist at PathNet, bringing 11 years of extensive experience in the field of pathology. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Biology at Henderson State University, graduating with summa cum laude honors. She pursued her medical education and pathology residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), followed by a specialized fellowship in urologic pathology at Johns Hopkins Medical Institute.
Dr. Cox served as a valued member of the UAMS pathology team for six years before transitioning to a position at the Cleveland Clinic. Her contributions to the field extend beyond her clinical practice, as she has made valuable contributions to the books “Diagnostic Pathology: Intraoperative Consultation” and “Diagnostic Pathology: Normal Histology,” authoring multiple chapters.
Dr. Cox is an active member of prestigious professional societies, including the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology and the College of American Pathologists. Her dedication to delivering exceptional patient care and advancing the field of pathology distinguishes her as a leading expert in her field.
Nicole A. Massoll, M.D.
Nicole A Massoll M.D. received her medical degree and completed her Anatomic and Clinical Pathology residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas. She went on to the University of Florida Shands Hospital to receive her Cytopathology training with the renowned genitourinary pathologist Dr. William Murphy. She became one of the first cytopathologists to learn Ultrasound guided Fine Needle Aspiration procedures and has performed thousands of thyroid US guided FNAs. She has consulted for numerous industry laboratories.
Along with cytology her areas of interest include: Breast, Genitourinary and ENT surgical pathology. Dr. Massoll also signs out molecular pathology in her areas of interest. She holds a faculty appointment at UAMS and is the founder of FNApath. Dr. Massoll has over 17 years of experience in both private and academic settings. She has taught internationally in her fields of interest.
She is board certified in Anatomical and Cytopathology and is currently licensed in Arkansas, Alabama, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, Missouri, Mississippi, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Ohio, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Wisconsin.
